Why one-time, not a subscription.

Settling an estate is finite work. Charging by the month creates the wrong incentives — for both sides. Here’s how we landed on a flat fee.

  • Aligned incentives

When we charge once, we’re paid to help you finish. Subscriptions are paid to keep you returning — the opposite of what an estate executor wants.

  • No silent renewals

No card charged on a date you forgot. No cancellation flow with three confirmation screens. You pay once and it stays paid.

  • Sensible for the work

Most estates settle in six to eighteen months. A flat fee for that window costs less than even a few months of typical SaaS, and feels honest about the scope.

What’s included with every plan.

  • 30-day money-back guarantee

Refund within 30 days, no questions asked. Your estate stays accessible during the refund window.

  • No data sale, ever

Estate data isn’t sold, shared with third parties, or used to train models.

  • Free to try, forever

The catalog and personal to-do list are free for every estate. Upgrade only if and when you want family broadcast and the records.

  • Pay with any major card

Stripe handles payment. We never see or store your full card details.

Pricing questions, answered.

The eight things people ask before paying. For everything else, the full FAQ covers the rest.

Why one-time and not a subscription?
Settling an estate is finite work. Most estates are wrapped in six to eighteen months. A monthly subscription would either charge you forever for a job that ended, or push us to drag out the work. A one-time fee aligns our incentives with yours — we want you done.
What does $79 actually buy?
Everything that helps you actually settle the estate: unlimited family members on the read-only portal, family-update emails (write once, everyone notified), AI task help in plain English, and PDF export of your records. The catalog and personal to-do list are free without upgrading — but those are organizational, not communicative. $79 is what unlocks the family side and the professional records.
What if I'm the executor for two parents?
Each estate is its own $79. You can manage as many estates as you need from one account, but each gets billed individually — we don't bulk-discount because each estate is its own work.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes — within 30 days of paying, for any reason, write to support@theexecutorhub.com and we will refund the $79 to the same card. The estate stays accessible for those 30 days so you have time to decide.
Can I try the paid features before paying?
Not directly. The free tier (catalog + personal to-do list) shows you how the workspace feels but doesn't include the paid features. We chose a hard line over a time-limited trial so there's no surprise charge later. The paid features (family invites, broadcast emails, AI help, PDF export) all unlock the moment your $79 payment is processed.
Will my estate still be accessible after I pay?
Yes — indefinitely. We don't time-limit access. As long as the company is operating, the hub for each paid estate stays open. You can always come back to re-export the PDF.
Do you charge attorneys differently?
No. Attorneys pay the same $79 per estate. We expect estate-planning attorneys to recommend the hub to clients rather than manage it themselves — but if you'd like to set up estates on behalf of clients, contact us and we can talk.
How is this priced compared to a probate attorney?
A probate attorney's hourly rate is typically $250–$500. They're indispensable for the legal work, but most of an executor's job is administrative — phone calls, paperwork, family communication — which costs you nothing per hour and which we help organize. Think of the hub as the administrative complement, not a replacement.

No subscription. No expiring access. The hub is yours until the estate is settled.
